Our policies :: equal opportunities policy

All children are given the same opportunity to play, experience and achieve with due regard for their age, race, religion, gender, culture, disability or special educational needs, social background or composition of the family. Racist/sexist behaviour or language is actively discouraged and always appropriately challenged if it should occur.

Positive images of people often discriminated against are given/shown through activities, experiences and conversation. I feel that it is important for a child's self-esteem and confidence to have a positive image of the facial/cultural/social group that their family belong to, and to respect the differences in others. All children are encouraged to take responsibility for the environment and to care for one another.

“Donna is always happy to discuss our daughter's day in detail - feed back is both written and verbal. Our daughter is very happy and settled in a very warm and caring environment.”
