I can only administer medicines and other treatments with the prior written permission of parents. I have a medication record book, which must be completed for each medication and signed by parents. I will sign each time to indicate the treatment has been carried out according to the parents instructions. All medications supplied by parents must be clearly labelled and in the original packaging.
